Annual holiday lights ride + walk returns for another year

On Friday, December 16, and Saturday, December 17, BPAC teamed up with the Alexandria SpokesWomen for our twelfth annual Alexandria holiday lights ride + walk. By bike and on foot, we admired the holiday decorations and festive lights in the Del Ray neighborhood. The creativity displayed on “Christmas Card Lane” on E. Luray drew “oohs” and “aahs.” We also went by some longtime favorites such as the houses at 409 E. Nelson, 107 Stewart, and 323 E. Oak.

If you’d like to bike or walk the routes on your own, the biking route is here, and the walking route is here.

Thank you to everyone who came out for the event, to all of the residents who put up such wonderful holiday decorations, and to the people who cheered us on as the groups walked or biked by. And I hope that Santa is especially nice this year to all of the amazing volunteers who kept this holiday tradition going strong for another year.
